Deep Exchange for Mutual Progress
During the exchange meeting, President Niu Lizhi and Ms. Mary Chen had an in-depth discussion on minimally invasive techniques, aiming to provide higher-quality, patient-centered care for both Chinese and Malaysian patients.
President Niu noted that since its founding more than 20 years ago, Fuda Cancer Hospital has treated patients from over 110 countries and regions, with nearly 50% of its international patients coming from Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and North America—including many from Malaysia. With its minimally invasive, comprehensive, and personalized treatment approaches, the hospital has brought genuine hope to patients and effectively resolved many of the challenges faced during their treatment journeys. He expressed his hope that this visit would serve as a foundation for strengthened communication and deeper collaboration, fostering complementary advantages, mutual growth, and high-quality cooperative development that enhances patients’ sense of trust and security in seeking treatment.
The Chinese name “Bao Kang” (Beacon) conveys the meaning of “Precious Health.” Beacon Hospital is well-known in Malaysia for cancer treatment and has always adhered to a patient-centered philosophy. Its hallmark lies in offering patients the highest degree of care and warmth, breaking away from the traditional cold impression of hospitals. Ms. Mary Chen expressed her hope that through this exchange, both sides could enhance understanding of different treatment approaches and systems, promote experience sharing, technical exchanges, and practical cooperation between medical experts and institutions in both countries. Such collaboration would help elevate healthcare services in the future, providing cancer patients with more treatment options and renewed hope.
The visit concluded with an exchange of gifts and group photos to mark the occasion.
